As an avid gamer over the last 15 years, I have hosted numerous game & voice servers, written many reviews, beta tested countless games, run my beloved clan, & followed news of new games with excited anticipation, while sharing my digital victories and defeats with a group of good people I spend almost more time with, than my family. For these reasons my friends are always asking me what I'm currently playing and what the next hot new PC game will be.
In the past I've written game reviews and previews for each game and they have grown in number to a point where it seems more prudent to put all the information in one place. This is the place!

Electronic Arts Plans To Release Two New Battlefield Games - We eagerly anticipate "Battlefield 1943" and "Bad Company 2" set to release in 2009
On the heels of the successful, Battlefield series produced by Electronic Arts (EA) ( Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142 ) the latest buzz is now the future release of Battlefield 1943!?! It is said to be a "mini game" in that it will only include a few maps and be multiplayer only (fine with me). It will also be sold at a reduced price.
My personal hope and it is only speculation, is that should the game take off and exceed expectations we could see patches including additional maps to beef up the game, but I believe EA plans to focus more on Bad Company 2 as the "Full Featured"
addition to the Battlefield franchise.
I have put many hours into first person shooters including Day of Defeat, Battlefield 2,Battlefield 2142, Call of Duty 4, Crysis, Frontlines Fuel of War, Team Fortress 2, etc. I usually follow the games from first mention through news,screenshots,trailers,beta,demo, and finally release. My clan & I are now on the move to gather Battlefield 1943 information as we have missed the Battlefield series and eventually grew tired of 2142.
